FOX Corporation launches sixth annual campaign to combat veteran homelessness
FOX Corporation is once again teaming up with U.S.VETS to raise awareness and support efforts to end homelessness among American veterans through its sixth annual "Make Camo Your Cause" campaign.
Running from Nov. 5 through Nov. 11, the initiative encourages FOX viewers and employees to support the cause by purchasing camo merchandise through the FOX and U.S.VETS campaign and making donations to the nonprofit.
Proceeds from the campaign will help provide housing and essential support services to veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
According to U.S.VETS, approximately 33,000 veterans are currently experiencing homelessness across the country. The organization works to address the crisis by connecting veterans with stable housing, counseling, career development programs and other resources designed to help them successfully transition to civilian life.
As part of the campaign, FOX is also asking supporters to wear camouflage on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, in recognition of the men and women who have served in the U.S. military.
Those participating are encouraged to share photos of their camouflage outfits on social media using the hashtag #HONORUSVETS to help spread awareness and show their support.
Supporters can contribute by purchasing U.S.VETS camouflage merchandise or making a direct donation through the campaign's donation page or the QR code below.
U.S.VETS is the nation's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to combating veteran homelessness. With nearly 50 residential and service locations nationwide, the organization provides veterans and their families with housing and resources to help them rebuild their lives and successfully reintegrate into their communities.
