Roof collapse reported at BJ's Wholesale Club due to flooding in New Jersey
OCEAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. - A roof has partially collapsed at a wholesale club in the tristate, and officials are asking people to avoid the area due to severe flooding.
The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office said they're currently responding to a roof collapse at BJ's Wholesale Club in Ocean Township.

The sheriff's office is asking people to avoid Route 35 and stay clear of the area to allow emergency personnel to safely respond.
Officials said it is extremely dangerous to travel due to the flooding.
The store was open at the time of the collapse, and it's unknown how many people were inside when it happened.
Authorities said no injuries were reported. More severe weather is expected today.
The FOX Forecast Center said the heaviest rain is moving out of the area, but showers will continue throughout the day.
